CCPN - A Collaborative Computing Project for the NMR Community
The CCP is funded by the BBSRC with the aim of CCPN performing a service
for NMR spectroscopists analogous to that of CCP4 in the X-ray crystallography
community.
The main objectives are:
- to establish a universal data model/data format for harvesting and
exchange of data between different NMR related software packages
- to develop software packages using the common data format to perform
standard functions
- to promote the use of the common data format
EMBO European Molecular Biology Organization
EMBO can be considered as an international academy which focuses on
molecular biology in its broadest sense such that it can respond to newly
developing areas which use molecular biology methods or attempt to describe
biological events at the molecular level.
Manchester Centre for Magnetic Resonance
The Manchester Centre for Magnetic Resonance promotes research into
magnetic resonance and its applications in science and medicine. Manchester
has a major concentration of expertise in a wide range of magnetic resonance
techniques, from chemical structure elucidation to diagnostic radiology,
and the Centre helps to build stronger links amongst local research groups
and with local industry.
NMR Concepts
Non profit school offering NMR courses.
NMRtec*
Knowledge transfer in NMR. An expertise center with the support of
top academic laboratories, helping chemistry companies with their chemical
analyses, training and R&D. NMRtec provides sophisticated NMR software
(Gifa), NMR training and customised NMR analysis.
Royal Society of Chemistry
The Learned Society for the chemical sciences and the Professional
Body for chemical scientists in the UK with over 46,000 members worldwide.
Subsection NMR-Spectroscopy of the DGK
In March 1997 the subsection "NMR-spectroscopy" was founded within
the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Kristallographie (DGK), with the aim
to serve as contact for NMR-spectroscopic questions and problems, to make
this method more transparent, to present their strengths as a useful completion
of other structure determining methods and furthermore within the DGK to
make it more accessible to scientists in crystallographic and mineralogical
research.
