Most of this work is carried out in our three laboratory-built NMR spectrometers (4.7, 7.2 and 11.8 T double- and triple-tuned instruments), which are equipped with an array of solution, solid phase and microimaging accessories. [*]Molecular Chemical Physics Lab. We mainly exploit possiblities of solid-state NMR for studying molecular structures and motion. We develop several new techniques of solid-state NMR on a basis of quantum mechanics and statistical mechanics and applied them for the study of interesting solids, such as ion-conducting polymers and proteins.
