Dear all,we have newly installed Bruker Ascend 600 with Sample Jet. Last month, we had a compressor error and NMR was out of order. This week I try to revive our spectrometer, it seems everything ok except LIFT. after 'ej' I do not hear any sound indicating any change in gas flow, the same after 'ij' When changing gas flow in VTU from e.g. 300lph to 500 lph, system reacts and the change is visible in gas flow monitoring and also noticeble with fingers over hole. However, after 'ej' I see only minor changes in gas flow..Do you have any idea what to do? I will be very thankfull

Avance III 400 NMR lift unresponsive... emergency air lift activiated
Hi, I am unable to activate our lift on our avance III 400 NMR from BruKer The message is emergency air lift activated. Both the inject and eject commands give this error. And I am unable to hear of air flow through the lift or any other mechanism when a lift is attempted. We could still lock on and shim to the chloroform peak. I've gone through a couple of trouble shooting pathways but so far I'm unsuccessful and getting our lift to work and shutting off the emergency air flow.
Does any one have any suggestions? ...

[NMR software blog] Men at Work
Men at Work
As soon as I began experimenting with the DOSY toolbox I was surprised to discover an unexpected hole, which is just a novel proof of my old theory on NMR imprinting.
If your first spectrometer is a Varian, you will become a certain kind of spectroscopist and a certain kind of programmer. If your first instrument is a Bruker, you will become a different spectroscopist and a different programmer.
If a brukerist programmer had written this toolbox, he would have imported the frequency domain spectrum and started from there. Mathias Nilsson is instead a Varianist and he imports...
