Default unresolved signals

unresolved signals

Hi allWe know that H NMR of paramagnetic sample or complex, is very broad with a bad signal to noise ratio. Do you have suggestion for obtain a better spectrum in case of paramagnetic sample ?Thank you

[U. of Ottawa NMR Facility Blog] NMR Signals in Tuning Curves
NMR Signals in Tuning Curves The quality of the tuning and matching of an NMR probe on a Bruker NMR spectrometer can be monitored by using the wobble (or "wobb") routine in the TOPSPIN software. This routine sweeps the frequency using low power and displays a plot corresponding roughly to the absorbance vs frequency for the probe electronics. If the probe has very high sensitivity (eg: a cryoprobe) and contains a sample rich in protons (eg: water) then one is able to observe the proton spectrum in the frequency swept wobble curve. This is demonstrated in the figure below which shows...

Extending the eNOE data set of large proteins by evaluation of NOEs with unresolved diagonals
Extending the eNOE data set of large proteins by evaluation of NOEs with unresolved diagonals Abstract The representation of a proteinâ??s spatial sampling at atomic resolution is fundamental for understanding its function. NMR has been established as the best-suited technique toward this goal for small proteins. However, the accessible information content rapidly deteriorates with increasing protein size. We have recently demonstrated that for small proteins distance restraints with an accuracy smaller than 0.1Â*Ã? can be obtained by replacing...

[Question from NMRWiki Q&A forum] Weak NOE signals, serious t1 noise
Weak NOE signals, serious t1 noise Since my university does not have a professional spectroscopist, I am a new learner of NMR, and I really have no one else to ask... I have a very concentrated sample (small molecule, MW < 300, 100 mg / mL), and I am running a 2D NOESY experiment (pulseprogram = noesyph in Bruker 400 MHz). However, the NOE signals that I am looking for are very weak, hidden by serious t1 noise (since the signal concerned is a CH3 group, very strong proton signal). Besides tricks like symmetrization, what else can I do to reduce the t1 noise or strengthen my NOE signal?...
