We've got a serious problem because with our new probe (5mm bbo bruker) the t1 noise in the heteronuclear correlations is fucking high. Maybe i did something wrong by adjusting the pcpd sequence. As pulse power for pcpd i have chosen the pl of the calibrated decoupling pulse, was that right? Or has someone experience with this issues? I am working with an avance drx500 with xwinnmr.
Thx a lot for EVERY hint!
Cheers

Jana, Despite ND0 being 1 for SoFast and 2 for regular HSQC, I decided to try your suggestion anyway. One more time processing this data set surely wouldn't

Hi Nichole, Iam extremely sorry about the previous post. if you have mistakenly used nd0=2 for sfhmqc, try changing this line in the nmrPipe script from -xSW

Hi Nicole, The yMode is not Echo-AntiEcho for the ppg sfhmqcf3gpph, it should be -yMODE States-TPPI Pls check the first line:- -bad 0.0 -noaswap -DMX -decim

[U. of Ottawa NMR Facility Blog] 19f - 13c hmqc
19F - 13C HMQC
If one has an NMR spectrometer with hardware capable of synthesizing and amplifying the frequency of 19F from the 1H channel and a broadband NMR probe whose 1H channel can tune down to 19F, then one is able to do 19F - 13C HMQC experiments. The figure below shows an example of a 19F - 13C HMQC spectrum collected on a Bruker AVANCE 500 NMR spectrometer using a 5 mm broadband probe. The fluorine spectrum is plotted on the top and the 13C spectrum is plotted on the side. The panel on the left shows the spectrum optimized for one-bond coupling, while that on the right shows the...
