I am currently trying to write a program that is a lot like the multizg program in the Bruker software, Topspin but with a few additions.
-I would need it to integrate the area under the peak (it is only one broad peak that I will be seeing) and based on the value of the area either
If the value for the area is lower than a certain value, increase the temperature by 2 kelvin
If the value of the area is higher than a certain value, increase the temperature by 0.2 kelvin before running an acquisition and also perform a DOSY experiment
Once everything is melted and the area under the peak is similar to that of the area during the room temp experiment, stop the experiment. Ideally here it would move on to the next sample using Icon NMR so if possible then the user shouldn't be prompted to need to enter anything manually.
Does anyone have any advice? Especially considering the part where it would have to make a different decision based on the integral of the peak area?
Check if somebody has answered this question on NMRWiki QA forum

Conformational distributions of denatured and unstructured proteins are similar to those of 20 Ã? 20 blocked dipeptides
Abstract Understanding intrinsic conformational preferences of amino-acids in unfolded proteins is important for elucidating the underlying principles of their stability and re-folding on biological timescales. Here, to investigate the neighbor interaction effects on the conformational propensities of amino-acids, we carried out 1H NMR experiments for a comprehensive set of blocked dipeptides and measured the scalar coupling constants between alpha protons and amide...

[Question from NMRWiki Q&A forum] Which Bruker HMBC program do you use?
Which Bruker HMBC program do you use?
Hello,
Here are Bruker hmbc pulse programs (produced by ls *hmbc*):
hmbcacbigpl2ndqf hmbcacgplpqf hmbcetgpl2nd hmbcgplpndqf hmbclpndqf hmbcndpsqf hmbcacgplpndqf hmbcetgpjcl2nd hmbcgpl2ndqf hmbcgpndqf hmbcndprqf shmbcgpndqfWhich would you run and for what reason?
(... I know that hmbcetgpjcl2nd - is a J-HMBC for measuring J coupling constants - what about the others?)

DREAMS program at Dalhousie
A recent and exciting development at Dalhousie University is the award of a new multi-investigator materials research program entitled DREAMS (Dalhousie Research in Energy, Advanced Materials and Sustainability). This program is funded by an NSERC-sponsored Collaborative Research and Training Experience grant.
The purpose of DREAMS is to train a cohort of researchers (Masters and PhD students, undergraduate summer research students and postdoctoral fellows) at Dalhousie University who will address important aspects of energy production/storage and...
