Hi,I would like to run some 19F NOESY, and 19F-1H correlation experiments on a totally fluorinated sample (no H) with a BBFO probe. Any advices? Should I take the standart proton expt and change nuclei and pulse length and power to 19F, with correct routing, or is it more difficult than this?Has anyone some advice? Thanks!Anne

[Question from NMRWiki Q&A forum] PHIP experiments
PHIP experiments
Dear all! I am struggling with some density matrices in PHIP experiments. I understand why the density matrix before hydrogenation reaction is I dot S But why afterwards (in PASADENA exp. for example) the density matrix is just IzSz? And in ALTADENA is IzSz-0.5(Iz-Sz)? Thank you!

[Question from NMRWiki Q&A forum] NMR experiments to assign aromatic sidechains?
NMR experiments to assign aromatic sidechains?
Hello, may I ask this - NMR experiments/pulse sequences are available to assign aromatic sidechains - Phe, Tyr, Trp? We'd like to try 2D and 3D.
What's available in the vendor-specific libraries?
Thank you very much.

Nitrogen-detected CAN and CON experiments as alternative experiments for main chain N
Abstract Heteronuclear direct-detection experiments, which utilize the slower relaxation properties of low γ nuclei, such as 13C have recently been proposed for sequence-specific assignment and structural analyses of large, unstructured, and/or paramagnetic proteins. Here we present two novel 15N direct-detection experiments. The CAN experiment sequentially connects amide 15N resonances using 13Cα chemical shift matching, and the CON experiment connects the preceding 13C nuclei. When starting from the same carbon polarization, the intensities of nitrogen signals detected in the CAN or...
