Source: Ryan's blog Back to Reality #1- LC/MS vs. NMR Reality #1: LC/MS has become the primary analytical check for the medicinal chemist. I Love NMR, but it's the reality So how did we get here? Clearly there a lot of reasons, but one of my hypotheses is based on... Read more...

[NMR900 blog] PCCP lists 25 most cited Canadian research articles
PCCP lists 25 most cited Canadian research articles Physical Chemisty Chemical Physics has announced that the Canadian Society for Chemistry (CSC) is now one of its co-owner societies. To celebrate this new partnership, PCCP has created a collection of 25 top cited articles from authors based in Canada to showcase some of the great Canadian research published in PCCP. Five articles on this list are from Canadian solid-state NMR research groups, including four papers enabled by the National Ultrahigh-Field NMR Facility for Solids. http://nmr900.ca/nmr_news.html#pccp...

Peak shape in NMR
Hi there, I'm quite new to NMR, but one thing I've been wondering is: are the shapes of the peaks in an NMR spectrum important? I know that the frequency information is important, and the amplitude can sometimes be important for experiments like NOESY, but does the overall shape matter? Can anymore information be deduced from this? Thanks

[NMR analysis blog] Back in the blogosphere
Back in the blogosphere After a 3 month-long hiatus, I'm back in the blogosphere. I’ve been travelling and working very hard on several exciting projects, but my entries have consequently suffered. Although my workload has not decreased, I am not planning to travel for the next few weeks. Hopefully I will manage to blog on a more regular basis from now on, especially now that there are many things we have been working on lately that I hope will be of interest to the NMR community. For now, I’d just like to point out a very interesting blog entry written by my friend Stan on his...
