Applications are invited for a full-time NMR instrumentation facility manager in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Miami University, Oxford, OH. Job Description: manage, administer, instruct, train, and maintain an instrumentation facility for NMR researchers. The department has several NMR spectrometers operating up to 850 MHz and several MS instruments. Requirements: Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related field, with expertise in the area of NMR spectroscopy. Experience with MS instrumentation is desired. Preference will be given to applicants with experience managing an instrumentation facility, maintaining a liquid He recovery system, and training students. The applicant will work under the supervision of the chair of the department.
