Authors: Bertini I, Luchinat C
The methodological accessibility to solution structure and dynamic investigation of paramagnetic metallobiomolecules has afforded the ability to tackle the redox pairs of electron transfer proteins of which at least one is paramagnetic, to study the orientation effects of high magnetic fields on paramagnetic biomolecules, and finally to study the role of metal-based cofactors in protein folding and stability.

Intra- and intermolecular translocation of the bi-domain transcription factor Oct1 characterized by liquid crystal and paramagnetic NMR

The intra- and intermolecular translocation processes whereby the bi-domain transcription factor Oct1 searches for its specific DNA target site have been investigated by residual dipolar coupling (RDC) and paramagnetic relaxation enhancement (PRE) measurements. The RDC data show that the orientation of the POUS and POUHD domains of Oct1 relative to the long axis of the DNA is the same for specific and...

Mapping allostery through the covariance analysis of NMR chemical shifts

Allostery is a fundamental mechanism of regulation in biology. The residues at the end points of long-range allosteric perturbations are commonly identified by the comparative analyses of structures and dynamics in apo and effector-bound states. However, the networks of interactions mediating the propagation of allosteric signals between the end points often remain elusive. Here we show that the covariance analysis of NMR chemical...

Edited by Neil E. Jacobsen (2007)
Amazon book description
NMR Spectroscopy Explained : Simplified Theory, Applications and Examples for Organic Chemistry and Structural Biology provides a fresh, practical guide to NMR for both students and practitioners, in a clearly written and non-mathematical format. It gives the reader an intermediate level theoretical basis for understanding laboratory applications, developing concepts gradually within the context of examples and...

Structural Biology- Practical NMR Applications-Quincy Teng
Structural Biology-Practical NMR Applications-Quincy Teng
I have just seen this book and have had time to skim it, seems like an excellent book to base an upper level undergrad or a grad course on, much easier to read than Cavanaugh and includes questions as well as learning goals for each section.
Has anyone else had a chance to go through this book?
