[Question from NMRWiki Q&A forum] Finding concentration from NMR spectrum
Finding concentration from NMR spectrum
I dissolve Aspartate in a buffer containing 2mM TSP. I have a NMR spectrum of the mixture and I need to find the concentration for the Aspartate.
The 1D spectrum shows 7 peaks at (ppm):0.00 (0.505), 0.60 (0.106), 1.75 (0.124), 2.62 (1.012), 2.80 (1.000), 3.65 (0.034), 3.80 (1.000)
What is the best way to find the concentration?

Detailed, superficial approach to finding new drugs
Detailed, superficial approach to finding new drugs
An international team has used NMR spectroscopy to study neglected regions of key cell-surface proteins. They have found that these regions undergo minute conformational changes in response to drugs, a finding that could ultimately prove useful in the design of new drugs for a range of diseases.
