[NMR paper] Dynamic Associations of Milk Components With the Infant Gut Microbiome and Fecal Metabolites in a Mother-Infant Model by Microbiome, NMR Metabolomic, and Time-Series Clustering Analyses
Dynamic Associations of Milk Components With the Infant Gut Microbiome and Fecal Metabolites in a Mother-Infant Model by Microbiome, NMR Metabolomic, and Time-Series Clustering Analyses
Background: The gut microbiome and fecal metabolites of breastfed infants changes during lactation, and are influenced by breast milk components. This study aimed to investigate dynamic associations of milk components with the infant gut microbiome and fecal metabolites throughout the lactation period in a mother-infant model. Methods: One month after delivery, breast milk and subsequent infant feces were collected in a pair for 5 months from a mother and an exclusively breastfed infant....
[NMR paper] EPR and NMR study of molecular components mobility and organization in goat milk under ultrasound treatment
EPR and NMR study of molecular components mobility and organization in goat milk under ultrasound treatment
The effect of ultrasound treatment on molecular mobility and organization of the main components in raw goat milk was studied by EPR and NMR spectroscopies. NMR relaxation studies showed an increase in the spin-lattice T(1) and spin-spin T(2) relaxation times in goat milk products (cream, anhydrous fat) and change in the diffusion of proton-containing molecules during ultrasound treatment. The diffusion became more uniform and could be rather accurately approximated by one effective...

[NMR paper] NMR-Based Metabolomic Analyses to Identify the Effect of Harvesting Frequencies on the Leaf Metabolite Profile of a Moringa oleifera Cultivar Grown in an Open Hydroponic System
NMR-Based Metabolomic Analyses to Identify the Effect of Harvesting Frequencies on the Leaf Metabolite Profile of a Moringa oleifera Cultivar Grown in an Open Hydroponic System
Moringa oleifera Lam. is one of the world's most useful medicinal plants. Different parts of the M. oleifera tree contain a rich profile of important minerals, proteins, vitamins, and various important bioactive compounds. However, there are differences in the phytochemical composition of the medicinal plant's raw materials due to seasonal variation, cultivation practices, and post-harvest processing. The main...
