REQUIREMENTS: a Ph.D. in chemistry; one to two years of directly related experience; solid knowledge of analytical methods (NMR, LC/MS, IR); scientific expertise in analytical, synthetic, and organic chemistry, including various methods of purification and solid phase organic synthesis; proficiency in computational chemistry; and knowledge of other scientific disciplines and their integration with chemistry. Experience in solid phase organic synthesis a plus, as is knowledge of medicinal chemistry. Project management experience preferred. Must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with all levels of internal staff and with external contacts in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organization and time management skills required.
