Postdoctoral Position in Solution and Solid State Protein NMR Spectroscopy, University of Guelph, Canada
Hello everybody. The University of Guelph are looking for somebody to research the NMR of membrane proteins and protein-protein interactions. It sounds quite interesting. (taken from the ICMRBS2008 website)

Postdoctoral Position in Solution and Solid State Protein NMR Spectroscopy
A postdoctoral position is available immediately in the area of NMR of membrane proteins and protein-protein interactions. The particular project is to study an integral 7TM protein, its interaction with its soluble transducer, and the interaction between the transducer and DNA. The project will involve both solution and solid-state NMR. The University of Guelph NMR Centre is currently equipped with four NMR spectrometers for biomolecular research: a Bruker 800 MHz Avance III spectrometer equipped with a variety of probes for solid-state NMR studies of membrane proteins, two Bruker Avance III 600 MHz spectrometers for both solution and solid state NMR, and a 500 MHz wide bore solid-state NMR instrument. One of the 600 MHz instruments will soon be equipped with a cryoprobe.
Applicants familiar with or willing to learn protein expression and purification, and with previous experience in biological solution or solid-state NMR are encouraged to apply. The work will be conducted in the Department of Physics, University of Guelph, and will be cosupervised by Profs. V. Ladizhansky and L. Brown. Additional information is also available upon request. Please send a CV and the names and addresses of three references to Leonid Brown (leonid@physics.uoguelph.ca) or Vladimir Ladizhansky (vladimir@physics.uoguelph.ca) if you are interested.
