Postdoctoral Position - NMR-based Structural Genomics
Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, USA

A postdoctoral position is available immediately in the area of NMR-based Structural Genomics. Candidates interested in learning, developing and applying high throughput protein structure determination methodologies, with an emphasis on improving the quality of protein structures derived from NMR data, are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will join a team of investigators participating in the Northeast Structural Genomics Consortium, one of four Large Scale Production Centers funded by the National Institutes of Health Protein Structure Initiative. An 850 MHz Bruker Avance III and a 600 MHz Varian Inova with cryogenic probe will be available for this project.

Please send CV and two letters of recommendation to: Professor Michael A. Kennedy, Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Miami University, Oxford, OH, 45056. A PhD in Chemistry/Biochemistry is required and experience in NMR-based protein structure determination is preferred. The position is available starting July 1, 2008.
