...just found the following positions on the website of The Burnham Institute.

LINK
  • Apoptosis and Cell Death Research
    Postdoctoral Associate

A postdoctoral position is available in the area of NMR spectroscopy of membrane-associated proteins that regulate programmed cell death and ion transport. Individuals skilled in protein biochemistry, solution NMR spectroscopy, or solid-state NMR spectroscopy, are encouraged to apply. Applicants should submit their CV and the names of three references to Francesca Marassi at fmarassi@burnham.org or send by mail.

  • Signal Transduction
    Protein Chemist/Biochemist

A position is opened in Dr. Pellecchia's lab for an enthusiastic post-doctoral fellow with a strong interest in NMR-based characterization of protein structure, protein-ligand and protein-protein interactions. The ability to work independently and in a team environment is a must. Basic skills in protein chemistry and biochemistry are required as well as previous exposure to modern NMR techniques with Bruker instruments. Familiarity with organic chemistry and/or molecular modeling is considered a plus, though not necessary. Interested applicants should send a CV and arrange for two letters of recommendation to be sent as soon as possible. The position would be available immediately, and will last for one year, with a second year available by mutual agreement. Candidates should send applications to Dr. Maurizio Pellecchia at mpellecchia@burnham.org, fax (858-646-3195) or mail.

  • Signal Transduction
    Synthetic Chemist

A position is opened in Dr. Pellecchia's lab for an enthusiastic post-doctoral fellow with skills in synthetic chemistry and strong interest in structure-based drug discovery and design. The candidate will work in an exciting interdisciplinary environment. In addition to refine his/her skills in medicinal chemistry, the candidate has the unique opportunity to be involved and leans molecular modeling and NMR-based drug discovery techniques. Basic skills organic chemistry are required as well as previous exposure to medicinal chemistry. Familiarity with NMR or molecular modeling is considered a plus, though not necessary. Interested applicants should send a CV and arrange for two letters of recommendation to be sent as soon as possible.
