Default Field Applications Specialist

Position Summary: The Field Application Specialist will provide technical support in the demostration, installation and optimization of cell biology products as well as answer customer product and/or process specification inquiries.

Position Details: The successful candidate will be responsible for the demonstration, installation and optimization of our cell biology products at customer sites. This position will identify, develop and modify protocols to ensure products are optimized for performance as well as provide feedback on product performance. Further, the selected candidiate will partner with the regional sales team to answer biotechnology platform questions; assist the team in the development of accounts; and identify high-potential accounts.

Requirements:

Education Requirements: B.S. in a life science or related discipline. Ph.D. is strongly preferred.

Experience Requirements: A minimum of 3 years of experience as well as working knowldege of cell biology, cell culture and imaging workstations and protocol development is required. In addition to comprehension of the cell biology of an application for imaging, the candidate must have aknowledge of relevant markets and cell biology topics/products. Excellent communication skillls are necessary. This position requires extrensive (70-80%) domestic and international travel to potential customer sites and trade shows. In addition the individual must be willing to work at the bench to generate data to create marketing materials.
