The Department of Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of Connecticut invites applications for a TENURE-TRACK ASSISTANT PROFESSOR in the area of Structural Biology and Biophysics. The ideal applicant will employ structural and biophysical approaches such as biomolecular NMR, single-molecule spectroscopy, computational structural biology or high resolution microscopy to address important biological problems. Applicants must have postdoctoral experience and an outstanding record of research accomplishments. Candidates are expected to develop a productive, independent research program and to contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching. Start date: Fall, 2009.
