Default Postdoctoral Assocaite in Biomolecular NMR

Postdoctoral Assocaite in Biomolecular NMR

An openings for a postdoctoral associates to work on structural and functional characterization of proteins involved in vesicle trafficking or cell surface carbohydrate interactions is available in the Prestegard laboratory at the University of Georgia. These are challenging projects involving both protein-protein and protein-membrane associations. The work is well illustrated by our recent publication in /Nature Structural and Molecular Biology /(17(7):876-81, 2010). The lab has access to excellent NMR instrumentation, including 800 and 900 MHz instruments with cryogenic probes. We also have strong biochemical collaborations that facilitate preparation and characterization of samples. Athens is a University town in the Southeastern part of the United States with excellent cultural amenities and a moderate cost of living. Those interested should send a letter describing their experience, along with a CV and the names of three individuals we might contact for reference letters. The University of Georgia is an AA/EEO employer.

postdoctoral position in biomolecular NMR
postdoctoral position in biomolecular NMR A postdoctoral position in biomolecular NMR is available immediately at The City College of New York (CCNY) located in New York City. The selected candidate will work on a project that aims to deduce the structural and dynamics of nick recognition and repair by DNA ligases (J. Mol. Biol. 2010, 395, 291-308), and will join a group that includes graduate students, postdoctoral associates and senior scientists.

Postdoctoral Researcher in Biomolecular NMR
I found the following position on NANUC website: Description: This position supports ongoing collaborative research between Dr. Valerie Booth at Memorial University and NewLab Clinical Research Inc. Our studies are aimed atelucidating structural information about membrane-associated proteins that are potentialdrug targets. The postdoctoral researcher will use both solution and solid state NMR, combined with computer modeling, to determine structures of molecules of interest. Thesemolecules include peptide ligands in their G-protein coupled receptor bound conformation, aswell as other...
