Default Journal Highlight: Determination of nicotine, glycerol, propylene glycol and water in electronic cigarette fluids using quantitative 1H NMR

Journal Highlight: Determination of nicotine, glycerol, propylene glycol and water in electronic cigarette fluids using quantitative 1H NMR

1H NMR alone has been used to identify and quantify the four most abundant components - propylene glycol, glycerol, water and nicotine - in e-cigarette liquids which can influence potential toxic and carcinogenic exposures.
