NMR-Life Conference, Murnau Oct 16-18, 2008
Advances in NMR of protein and nucleic acid molecular recognition
Location: Murnau
Date: Oct 16-18, 2008
The EC funded a Coordination Action ‘Focusing NMR on the machinery of Life (NMR-Life)’ aims to coordinate the European efforts on the use of NMR to address relevant questions in life sciences. The main scientific topics on which the project focuses are: protein-protein, protein-DNA/RNA, protein-small molecules interactions, and immobilized proteins.
The present NMR-Life workshop on protein and nucleic acid molecular recognition will be held in the picturesque village Murnau ( http://www.murnau.de/) in Upper Bavaria. We hope to bring together scientists using NMR to study the structural biology and molecular functions of proteins, nucleic acids and their complexes. The meeting will present invited lectures, a poster session and promoted poster talks, and should provide ample opportunity to discuss current state-of-the-art methodology, new ideas and challenges for future applications of NMR for studying protein-protein and protein-nucleic acid interactions.
Deadline for registration is August 30, 2008.
